To explore the characteristics of bacterial diversity and community structure of the seawater polyculture pond with shrimps, crabs and shellfishes at the different stages of aquaculture, we investigated a typical seawater ployculture and a non-culture pond (control) in Ganyu county, Lianyungang, Jiangsu province, China. Bacterial community composition was characterized using the V4-V5 region of 16S ribosomal DNA analysis by Illumina Miseq. Results of this study helps to improve our understanding of the bacterial community in a complex aquaculture ecosystem and to regulate water quality, reduce disease and enhance aquaculture production quantity and quality. |
