Transcriptional changes in symbiosis mutants |
description |
Arbuscular mycorrhiza (AM) and root nodule symbiosis are mutualistic plant-microbe interactions that confer great advantage in survival on the land to the host plant. During the symbiosis development, transcriptional profiles drastically change in the host plant. We performed transcriptome analysis in several symbiosis mutants non-infected or infected with the symbiotic microbe; AM fungi or rhizobium. In this analysis, we revealed expression profiles reflecting mutant phenotypes that defect in various developmental stages of AM and root nodule symbiosis. |
