title Transcriptome profile changes during the early larval development from egg of Echinococcus multilocularis
description Echinococcus multilocularis is a zoonotic parasite, which performs unlimited asexal larval proliferation in the liver of intermediated host including humans. Larval taeniid cestodes including E. multilocularis show strong acquired immunity against the reinfection with eggs, but establishedlarvae from the primary infection can survived for long time. Therefore, the early development of larva from egg is key events for vaccine development. We intent to clarify the transcriptome profiles change during the early stage of E. multilocularis. We determined the transcriptome profiles using the eggs, hatched and activated eggs, early stage lesions from the liver of infected mice, and cultivated larval vesicles of the parasites.
