title |
in vitro study of short-term antagonistic evolution between Pseudomonas aeruginosa PAO1 and phage KPP22 |
description |
Through the antagonistic evolution, bacteria become resistant to phage infection, and phage overcomes the phage-resistant mechanism of the bacteria. Phage KPP22 is a newly isolated phage, which belongs to family Myoviridae genus PB1-like viruses. We experimented the antagonistic evolution between Pseudomonas aeruginosa PAO1 and phage KPP22, and studied both KPP22-resistant PAO1 clones and the KPP22-mutant phages. |
