title Transcriptome-wide identification of RNA editing sites during thymopoiesis
description RNA editing is a post-transcriptional modification, which is tightly regulated in a development- and cell-specific manner. ADAR1 is one of the editing enzymes that catalyze the deamination of adenosine to inosine in double-stranded RNA (dsRNA). Recently, we found that T cell-specific deletion of ADAR1 in mice led to severe thymic atrophy, aberrant T cell survival and differentiation in thymus. In this study, we will investigate how RNA editing is regulated during thymopoiesis.
