title |
Transcriptomic profiling of Mycobacterium sp. EPa45 during cultivation in the presence of phenanthrene |
description |
Transcriptome analysis of a phenanthrene-degrading bacterium in rich liquid medium with and without phenanthrene was performed. This analysis clarified that many genes predicted to be involved in phenanthrene metabolism and iron uptake are transcriptionally induced in the presence of phenanthrene.
Overall design: The EPa45 cells grown in rich liquid medium with and without phenanthrene were used for RNA-seq analysis on the Illumina HiSeq 2500 platform. Three independent experiments were performed. |
