title Characterization of kuruma shrimp BAC clones
description The kuruma shrimp Marsupenaeus japonicus is an economically important crustacean in Japanese aquaculture. We have previously reported on a bacterial artificial chromosome (BAC) clone containing sequences that are related to white spot syndrome virus (WSSV) genes. Here, we sequenced four BAC clones to characterize the whole set of M. japonicus endogenous WSSV-like sequences.
