title RNA-Seq of apple cultivar 'Fuji' dormant buds with different chill conditions
description Dormancy and its release are agronomically important processes that bring synchronized bloom in fruit tree species, including apple. However, the systemic regulation of these processes were largely unknown. In this study, we attempted to elucidate the regulatory mechanism underlying endodormancy release and chilling requirement in apple by using bud transcriptomes collected through a dormancy period in outside field and in an artificial chilling condition.
