title 16S rRNA amplicon analysis in BKK
description 16S rRNA metagenomic analysis was conduct to analysis bacterial population in this study. Five water samples were collected from Phadungkrungkesem Canal on 19th January 2015. Two liters of each sample were collected from the water surface, where were near the aquatic animal market (BKK_A1), plant market (BKK_B1), fresh market (BKK_C1), and street food stalls in night times (BKK_D1 and BKK_E1). The filtration technique was used to concentrated bacterial cells in the water samples. The bacterial DNA was extracted and the hypervariable V3-V4 on 16S rRNA were sequenced using Illumina Miseq sequencer. The reads were processed using bioinformatic analysis for taxonomy classification of bacteria and the potential pathogens. We anticipate that our results could be used for prevention of infectious disease in these areas.
