title |
Microbial community assembly in response to trophic perturbation |
description |
Soil microbes are continuously subjected to external perturbations, and it is fundamental for ecologists to understand and further predict the microbial responses to these perturbations. A prominent perturbation is the addition of chemical nutrients, including fertilizers and animal urine, to soil. Here, we show that soil nutrient stoichiometry determines the impact of nutrient addition on the soil microbial communities. |
