title Fish fauna detected by eDNA metabarcoding in damaged rivers by heavy rainfall in Northern Kyushu District, Japan in July 2017
description In recent years, torrential rains exceeding the conventional assumption occurred in various places in Japan. In this research, in addition to the conventional method of capture survey, we conducted environmental DNA metabarcoding using MiFish primer sets that can easily detect fish fauna in rivers that were damaged by the heavy rainfall in Northern Kyushu District, Japan in July 2017. The goal of this research is to describe and evaluate an example of the impact of large-scale disasters on the fish fauna of rivers.
