description | To identify and characterize a novel class of local structural aberrations in human lung adenocarcinoma genomes, we performed whole-genome sequencing of lung cancer cell lines using nanopore-type long-read sequencers, MinION and PromethION. We generated whole-genome sequencing data of five cell lines. We subjected the long-read equencing data to our bioinformatics pipeline and analyzed point mutations, large deletions, chromosomal rearrangements and the novel types of structural alterations in cancer genomes. | ||
