To understand regulation mechanisms for defence response in rice against pathogens, we focus on two tanscripiton factors (a bZIP-type factore OsTGAP1 and a bHLH-type factor OsMYC2), which have been known to be involved in the transcriptional reguation of defensive terpenoids synthesis in rice.In this study, genome-wide binding sites of these factors on the rice chromosome are surveyed by ChiP-seq approach.Based on the results, possible target genes that are direclty controled by these factors at transcruption level will be found, and signaing pathways from patogen attack to antimictobial compound production in rice will be proposed. |
