title Transcriptomic, epigenetic and chromatin changes during neuronal differentiation
description The neocortex consists of a great diversity of neurons which are born at different developmental stages and regulated by different transcriptional programs. During the process of differentiation, neurons undergo dramatic morphological and functional changes. We discovered that thousands of genes change their expression state during this process, indicating a global change in transcription states during neuronal differentiation. Here, we are examining the mechanisms of neuronal differentiation focusing on their transcriptomic, epingenetic and chromatin changes.
