title Development of co-dominant markers linked to a hemizygous region that is related to a self-compatibility locus (S) in common buckwheat
description In order to develop codominant markers to distinguish between plants with ShSh and Shs, we have performed a bulked segregant analysis using a next generation sequencer (NGS). By the analysis, we developed four co-dominant makers linked to the S locus. We have investigated the polymorphism frequency between KSC7 and common buckwheat cultivars. A developed STS-marker was confirmed the linkage with more than 1,000 segregating plants.
