This study was performed to characterize VanA-type vancomycin-resistant enterococci (VRE) strains obtained in Japan. These strains were isolated in a single hospital. To determine the genetic structure, whole genome sequence using Illumina Miseq and Nanopore Minion was performed for this strain. Illumina data and Nanopore data were assembled de novo using Unicycler. DFAST and RAST were used for annotation. |
