title Transcriptome analysis in HBZ-transgenic/IL-6 knockout mice
description A viral gene, HTLV-1 bZIP factor (HBZ), triggers systemic inflammation and T-cell lymphoma in transgenic mice. Here we show that loss of IL-6 accelerated inflammation and lymphomagenesis in HBZ transgenic mice. To understand the molecular mechanisms for the acceleration of inflammation and oncogenesis in HBZ-Tg/IL-6 KO mice, we performed RNA-seq analysis using splenic CD4+ T cells from 4 strains: WT, HBZ-Tg, IL-6 KO, and HBZ-Tg/IL-6 KO.
