title Adaptation to waterlogging in european white oaks
description The objective of this study was to identify the molecular mechanism involved both in hypertrophied lenticels formation and in the adaptation to waterlogging in european white oaks. To reach these objectives, seedling from both species (pedunculate vs. sessile) were subjected to waterlogging by maintaining the water table level up to 2cm above the collar. The portion of the immerged stem (i.e containing the hypertrophied lenticels in pedunculated oaks) was then sampled after 9 days of stress and characterized using a RNAseq approach
