Both NICUs have similar protocols for feeding, prescription of antibiotics, and antifungal drugs with the exception that NNUH administered a probiotic treatment containing Bifidobacterium bifidum and Lactobacillus acidophilus (i.e. Infloran®) to their infants from birth. |
