title Transmissible Dog Cancer
description Canine transmissible venereal tumour is a transmissible cancer that affects dogs worldwide. It is clonally derived and transmitted by the physical transfer of living cancer cells. By sequencing the genomes of tumours collected from different geographical areas, we aim to identify somatic structural rearrangements that have occurred in the evolution of this cancer, the oldest known somatic cell clone.
