Illumina sequencing of a WT single marker parental strain and drug resistant Trypanosoma brucei 427 lines is being used to study resistance mechanisms under laboratory conditions and the drift that occurs under culture. Knowledge gained under controlled conditions should help interpret data from resistant field isolates.. This data is part of a pre-publication release.
