| description | Total RNA was extracted from spores, gametophytes, and fronds of Ceratopteris richardii, Hn-n strain. Poly-A mRNA was captured and sequenced on an Illumina HiSeq 4000 at 2x150 with a target of 30 million reads per tissue. After removing low-quality reads, de novo assembly was performed with Velvet (version 1.2.06) and Oasis (version 0.2.06). Duplicate sequences were collapsed and sequences lacking start and stop codons, or shorter than 200 nucleotides, were removed. The final transcriptome is 527.7 megabases, has 256,252 sequences with mean length 2,059 and an N50 of 2,488. | ||||||||||||
