Long-term monitoring reveals stable and remarkably similar microbial communities in parallel full-scale biogas reactors digesting energy crops |
description |
This entry contains the raw sequence data from a 454-pyrosequencing snapshot study of the bacterial community (16S rRNA gene amplicons) in samples taken from three biogas reactors digesting energy crops exclusively. The samples were taken at the same timepoint in parallel from all three reactors. The full-scale reactors were of identical contruction and operated in parallel under mesophilic conditions. As feedstock approx. 97% maize silage and further energy crops were utilised but no manure. Please refer to the respective research article (see below) for further information as these data are partially presented in this paper including further data about the investigated reactor systems, abiotic parameters and methanogenic community profiles.
