Psychromonas sp. CNPT3. This strain was isolated from the central north Pacific Ocean at a depth of 5800 m by high pressure enrichment and high pressure colony formation. This organism is a deep-sea piezophilic heterotrophic marine microbe. It requires certain amino acids for growth.
