sample comment  We monitored succession of tomato plant root-associated bacteria during plant development. We sampled four independent replicates of bacterial communities at four time points during plant development which were grown under two treatment conditions. To determine the effect of plant age and treatments on the diversity and composition of root associated bacterial communities we applied a high-throughput sequencing-based protocol that targets PCR-generated amplicons from the variable regions V4-V5 of the 16S rRNA gene using the bacterial primer set 515F/806R. Single end fastq file contains 32 libraries was produced as a result of Illumina HiSeq 2000 sequencing
