Newhall' navel orange (Citrus sinensis Osb.), grafted on Trifoliate orange (Poncirus trifoliata (L.) Raf.) was used in the experiment. The virus-free plants were obtained from the National Indoor Conservation Center of Virus-free Germplasms of Fruit Crops at Huazhong Agricultural University in Wuhan. The one year old plants were washed with deionized water to remove surface contaminants, then were transplanted to the black pots which contain B-free medium composed of quartz sand: perlite (1:1, v/v) and the plants were put in a greenhouse. |
